The Strategic Context
The Vision: To build a centralised "Financial Nervous System" that empowers individuals and businesses to aggregate and share their financial data securely.
The Intervention: Designing a secure, unified hub that leverages the Account Aggregator (AA) framework to replace fragmented, high-friction data sharing with a single, consent-driven experience.
The Problem: The "Trust Deficit" in Data Sharing
The Complexity Barrier: Traditional financial interfaces are data-heavy and linguistically dense, leading to high user drop-off.
The Fragmentation Gap: Financial profiles are scattered across banks, insurers, and investment platforms, making a "Total Wealth View" nearly impossible.
The Privacy Anxiety: Users are hesitant to share data due to a lack of transparency regarding usage and visibility.
Key Design Decisions (Systems Thinking)
The "Consent-First" Interaction Model
Decision: I designed a Granular Permission UI (Data Type | Duration | Purpose).
The "Why": In Fintech, trust is the primary conversion metric. By giving users explicit control over their data "expiration dates," we shifted the mental model from Surveillance to Stewardship.
Cognitive Load Reduction (Simplified IA)
Decision: Implementation of Progressive Data Disclosure.
The "Why": Instead of showing an entire financial ledger at once, I structured the dashboard to show High-Level Trends first, preventing "Analysis Paralysis."
Guided "Zero-Error" Workflows
Decision: Designing Linear Transaction Paths with real-time validation.
The "Why": Financial errors carry high emotional costs. I built "Safety Checks" into the flow to ensure users feel 100% confident before hitting 'Authorize.'
Multi-Segment Design (B2C & B2B Convergence)
Decision: A Unified Design Language System that scales from mobile (Individual) to a high-density web portal (Business).
The "Why": Consistency allowed for faster development and a lower learning curve for users switching between roles.
Impact & Performance Metrics
User Success: Improved task completion rates by ~35% through streamlined consent flows.
Comprehension: Drastically reduced support tickets related to data security through clearer trust cues.
Product Maturity: Successfully balanced strict Regulatory Compliance with a "Modern App" feel.
Professional Reflection
Anumati taught me that in a regulated ecosystem, Transparency is a Feature. My role was to transform cold, regulatory requirements into a warm, human-centric experience that users actually trust.
